a multistory building, this building consist of seven stories , and described as commercial building. This graduation project deals with the following main topicsThe site is located in Tulkarem. It is bordered by a street of 20 m width from the
south, a street of 6m width from the east and existing buildings from north and west
sides as shown on the attached plan-layout.
No high voltage, electrical or telephone poles, sewer or water pipes were observed

geotechnical and structural design of footing alternatives based on actual geotechnical conditions and existing architectural design.discussion and conclusion of different alternatives for foundation types .this project starts with giving literature review about soil which describe as the base of structure and footing and then description to the project soil type , and provides information about geotechnical site investigation related to the soil , then provides the loads affecting on the footings , and also show footings calculations, later discussion to the results and recommendations about the project footings.

There are many factors affecting selection types of footing such as soil economical conditions in addition to bearing capacity, loads to be transfer to the soil, the available technology, these factors will be discussed in the project.
