Water is essential to sustain life and a satisfactory (adequate, safe and accessible ) supply must be available to all. Improving access to safe drinking-water can result in tangible benefits to health . Every effort should be made to achieve a drinking-water quality as safe as practicable ( WHO,2006 ).
Because of the great importance of water, we have to study the town Thinnaba is where we live, in that study we will develop networks of water and reduce water losses.
As we all know that the sewage in septic tanks for homes and networks damaged by leaking a lot of water drainage on the sides of the road, they can cause the large number of insects, rodents and many skin diseases, In addition to the high cost as a result To withdraw water from cesspits, So we decided to study the design of sewerage for the town.
This study is a new water network design and modern to the town, for many problems in the existing network using EPANET program ,as well as the design of sewer networks. Basic information in this study were obtained from the Municipality of Tulkarm and through observations, field visits and-resolution that have been applied in this study .
Objectives and Importance.
In this project, there are two main objectives:
1 - As mentioned in the introduction our selection it was for the network of water and sewage water to the town of Thinnaba, Because of its positives in terms of raising the level of this town and contribute to the development and hope to God that we have been successful in that.
2-As a result of the importance of the project, we must have a knowledge of the reality of work, on the other hand, we must know the reality in the theoretical work
As a result, we must to be familiar with the EPANET program and sewer cad program.
The aims of the project are summarized with a Design of water network and sewerage system of the town at less cost and higher quality through the availability of materials in the local market. The amount of water used in a locality is directly related to the size, distribution, and composition ofthe local population.
