Abstract

Remote areas, where there is small amount of people, and those people need electricity to have a good life. We decided to study the solution for individuals, groups and governments, who trying to solve such problems through the use of PV systems to feed houses by electrical power.

The results show that, utilizing of PV systems for remote areas in Palestine is economically more feasible than using diesel generators or extension of the high voltage electric grid. The obtained results represent also a helpful reference for energy planers in Palestine and justify the consideration of PV systems more seriously.
