Abstract
Our project mainly focuses on charging the Electric Meters by sending SMS. The process will be as the following, sending SMS contains the charging value and the meter’s number from the shipping center or any center that deal with the electricity company to the user’s meter, the sending process will be done through using Android application. Then the meter will send SMS contains the charging value and the meter’s number using its SIM card to the SIM card of the server, then the server will reply with SMS contains the token number to the GSM module’s meter. When it arrive to the GSM module , it will forward this SMS to Arduino that connected with the Meter , then the Arduino will send the token number to the meter and it will be charged. Moreover, the user itself can send the SMS to its electric meter.
