In this project we will build a painting machine using Arduino , to paint colorful pictures on paper based on existing graphics or follows along with users as they draw on an iPad.
Most of the device is made from carved plywood, a pair of motors connected to cables handle the positioning of the crayon (a pencil used for drawing ) along the X-Y axis, while a carriage with a servo moves it up and down as needed.
Whats make this device special is that used tool changing to choose for 4 different colors (Red , Green , Black , Blue).
The iPad will run a simple drawing application that allow user to paint its own graphics using only 4 colors ( Red , Green , Black , Blue) , and then send it to the device via Wi-Fi connection, where the device will start painting , by first choosing the appropriate color and then control stepper motor for positioning of the crayon along the X-Y axis.
