Reinforced concrete structures are one of the most popular structure systems used in our country, this project addresses the analysis and design of a reinforced concrete structural system that is located in Nablus (Ghasal Factory Building).

The project will be divided into 2 parts The first phase intend to prepare the basic information required to facilitate efficient structural design as well as project management, which will be  completed in this report, while the second phase will be redesigned considering seismic as well as gravity loads, structural elements such as footings, stairs, shear walls will be completed .

Ghasal Factory Building consists of Basement Floor Level, Ground Floor Level, First, Second, Third, Fourth and Fifth Floor.

Since a mathematical model representative for the structure in reality is needed, 3D structural model for the building is prepared. The analysis is verified using conceptual hand calculation for 1D model. Detailed design using manual and a software program will also be presented.

Comparison between the conceptual analysis/design and the results from the software program will be high lightened.
