Effect of heat treatment temp in the micro hardness and tensile properties

In this project we must study the effect of heat treatment temperature in the hardness and tensile properities for low carbon steel1010, by increasing the quenching temperature above A1 to 1150° C (maximum solubility limits).

After quenching we must tempered the steel and study the effect of the heat treatment by using tensile and hardness testing machines to find the relation between the heat treatment temperatures and the above properties.
