The aim of this project is to design, fabricate and operate Multi-Hole drilling single Station Automated Cell in which the drilling head acts as two degrees of freedom manipulator. The head is to carry out successive planer movement followed by vertical movement to make multiple holes on parts being transported stepwise on a conveyer.

The planner motion is accomplished by properly designed linkage. The proposed manufacturing system work as a single station automated cell that drills single model wooden parts; the system consist of five building blocks:

Feeding, Functional, Checking, Transporting and discharge blocks

this report consist of four chapters; these are: Introduction, machine design, machine fabrication, and results and conclusions.
