The project is mainly to prepare conceptual design for wastewater collection in Sabastia town.
Sabastia is located 15 km to the north - west from Nablus city at a height of 436 meters above mean sea level. The town has no sewage collection system, people depend on drilling absorbency to dispose their wastewater. However, others get rid of their wastewater on the streets.
Moreover, the drilling absorbency have many adverse impact on the surrounding environment, such as floods to the surrounding areas, which causes pollution to the water, odors and the appearance of insects and rodents.
Main objective of the project:
1. Study the environmental conditions and problems in Sabastia.
2. Conceptual design of wastewater collection system.
3. Design main trunk lines, to transpose the wastewater to Wadi Zemar treatment plant.
4. Provide treated water for irrigation and reuse.
To solve this problem we will design a sewage collection system to serve Sabastia, taking into consideration the cultural and historical rules of the town, a conceptual design for wastewater collection system will be done.
