To minimize the travel time for people who want to travel from Al-Masakin-Rujeeb, Tubas and other cities and villages (like Tamoon and Methaloon) towards the south (i.e. to Rujeeb, Howara as well as Ramallah and Al-Quds and other cities and villages). This will be accomplished through traveling on the current road by passing Nablus from the east, so that they will not enter Nablus city. This will also reduce the congestion on the streets like Amman and Al-Quds streets. The existing conditions of the road were generally bad, as they suffered from various pavement defects

Objectives :

The objective of our project is to rehabilitate the Al-Masakin-Rujeeb Road and improve the existing alignment wither in vertical or horizonta plan.

Methodology :

1- Data collection:

This include collecting data on vehicle classification (trucks, busses, passenger cars ,etc.) and traffic volumes at the start and at the end, as well as, important intersections.

2- Geometric Design :

This includes setting the surface and designing the horizontal, and vertical planes, as well as the cross sections and intersections.

3- Pavement Design :

This includes benefits tests (CBR) and ESAL, in designing the pavement.
