Structural engineering is one of the most important approaches in civil engineering since it specialized in providing safe structures for the human beings since it is not enough to design  beautiful building architecturally but we  have also to satisfy safety for our structures.

So the structures must be designed to be able to resist all potential loads that may be subjected to , so the structure must be designed to  carry its own weight, superimposed  and live loads also dynamic loads will be considered like earthquake and wind loads.

Structural modeling is extremely essential approach in structural engineering since structural modeling deals with representing the physical model in reality into mathematical model that we can analyze and design. So in modeling as we became more closer to  reality  our design will be more safe , sufficient and economic.

 project description

The project is structural analysis and design for the  Dr. Fahid Abu Zanit building. The  building  is located in Nablus city but it has not constructed yet. It  is a residential building consists of 15 stories , the first one is a garage   and all other stories will be used as residential apartments . The area of this building is (530m2).
