This project aimed at designing wastewater treatment plant for tubas  and surrounded  villages aqqaba, tammun, tyaseer,  which will treat “domestic wastewater”. Also, main sewer lines draining these cities to the treatment plant, will be designed.

The purposes of wastewater treatment plant are to protect the environment, to save water resources and to use the treated water in agricultural application and others.

Tubas is an agricultural active region and due to the scarcity of water in the town of Tubas in the time when the demand for water for farming and the other, had to be that these problems are studied and developed solutions to provide needed water - agricultural, at least - By examining contaminants that pollute the water to get rid of them and take advantage of the wastewater generated by various business and so we have contributed in providing the population's need for irrigation water.

Tubas city and its suburbs its lack the sewer system and thus the proportion of soil contamination will be very high and this in turn will impact negatively on agriculture and agricultural production in that region.
The tubas Resources are under persecuted by the settlers and the Israeli army .

Sources in Tubas controlled by the Israeli occupation, such as feed water for agriculture, therefore, agricultural production will diminish, so it was necessary to find a replacement for the irrigation of crops is the use of treated wastewater.
Assuming a network connected to sewerage treatment plant, found that The influent flow rate to the plant is 40030.7 m3/dwhich was estimated based on wastewater amounts for the year 2060, with quality of total suspended solids equals to 80 g/c.d, and biological oxygen demand equals to 60 g/c.d.
These values are not acceptable in Palestine, so it was necessary to design treatment plant to get the values are subject to standards and specifications of Palestine.
