The study reported in this project is concerned with using water from Dead Sea as a soil stabilization agent.

Three materials, a clay soil, a white fine aggregate, and the base course material will be studied. Each material will be mixed with both tap water and Dead Sea water separately and the resulting soil properties will be measured for comparison.

Laboratory tests including sieve analysis, grain size distribution, Atterberg limits (shrinkage, plastic and liquid limit), and proctor test, California Bearing Ratio test and PH value will be conducted.
