People need many vital systems such as water supply systems, transportation systems, and waste water collection system Sewer networks are one of the most important networks in any areas, either residential or industrial. The importance of such networks lies in the fact that they collect wastewater and dispose of in a safe way without causing any damages to huamn or environment.
Traditionally, wastewater was disposed of using cesspits, which used to cause many problems to the environment, like contamination of ground water by waste water, due to infiltration, which eventually leads to many problems to people, like putting them at risk, and costs them a lot in order to evacuate.
The best design of sewer networks, requires a good knowledge about the wastewater generation, which depends on the population and the consumption of water.Secondly, it requires sufficient knowledge in hydraulic principles, and finally, which is not essential in the design of sewer network, but seems to be helpful and will give us more accurate results, is the knowledge in specialized software for sewer design, like SewerCAD.
For this, we chose Baqa Ash-Sharqia Village, as a design area, because this village does not have sewer network. In our design, we used AutoCAD, SewerCAD and Excel.

Sewer systems are important systems for residential and industrial areas to dispose of the waste water that is produced due to water consumption.
Design of sewer systems is constrained by several factors such as nature of waste (organic, chemical ….ets), amount of waste water, topography, and design period. Design of sewer systems should be effective, efficient, appropriate to the designed area, and the cost is minimum. These things should be considered in any sewer system to be designed and constructed.
The objectives of the design of these types of systems are to dispose of waste water in a safe way without causing any infectious diseases and environmental problems.
