One of the most important factors that should be taken in consideration in the site, (from engineering point view), is the safety issues. Development and implementation of  safety program is a key to good management.

We can define safety as the condition or state of  being safe, freedom from danger or hazard, being faraway from hurt, injury, or loss .Where as the hazard is a condition with the potential of causing or contributing to an accident or illness.

Objective

Our objective is to adopt this project and research as a policy(manual) for safety in construction sites.

Scope

Safety scope is not to prevent accidents but to reduce accidents. The best way to do so is to follow the right procedure during the construction process, and to prepare a risk assessment for each activity before carrying it out.

Methodology

In this research our information will be collected  through reading  and through  visits to several projects in our country Palestine and through observations. We will study the safety issues of  human resources in these local projects and measure the degree of commitment to the safety rules in these projects.
