This project is a static design for residential buildings locate in Nablus City “Al-Baydar Housing” which is lie near “Al-Quds Al-Maftoha University”. This design will be according ACI-318-08. This will be done using “SAP2000” analysis program with hand calculations used for verifications and preliminary design.

Then, soil effects were studied through including the real footings with bearing capacity of soil which modeled as a springs, and it was expected that some of columns will have a larger loads due to soil interaction. Finally, these differences will be discussed.

In the final part, a study case for one building will be done. This study is about dynamic analysis for structures taking building (A) as a study case. This study aims to know the behavior of structure under earthquake loads through specific types of analysis.
