water is the most important thing in our life , so it is a basic thing for all human especially in Palestine , until it was the most problems that hinder the Palestinian Israeli negotiation .

There are many resources of water in the earth such as rivers , lakes and groundwater springs

Many needs water for drinking preparing food , bathing , cleaning and irrigation so it is important to have ready access to this resources , we have to get always a clean water and harmless to human , biota and environment , because of israeli occupation control in our sources and prevent us from getting natural water out to use , solving this problem is very complex and difficult especially in Nablus city , Nablus is controlled by many israeli settlements

Nablus is a major city in Palestine under Palestinian authority in the west bank with a population about 100,000 it is one of the largest Palestinian population centers in the Middle East

The city lies 63 km north of Jerusalem between mount Ebal and Jarzeem

The old city is one of the famous area in Nablus it lies in the center of the city and it has a special characteristics made it high populated city and it is not easy to be studied , it is with a population about 12000 people , its area with about 450 Donoums , the only source of water in the old city is al Qaryun spring and it is one of the eldest springs in Palestine .

The old city citizens is suffering from many problems in its water network , so our project will study the existing network , dealing with it and try to redesign a new network solving the problems that occurs in the existing network .
