Our project is about (Foundation Design of al-Maslamani Mall) which is located in the village of Beit Eba – Nablus governorate. (To the south of Nablus-Tulkarem main road).
It is bordered by the main road from the north, and an open channel from the south.
The total plan area of this mall is about 3500 m2, and the number of stories is 6 stories; 4 stories are above the ground surface, and 2 stories are below the ground surface.
According to the bearing capacity of the soil, we decided to design the foundations as single footings, and then we designed them as pile's system; to compare between the two different types.
