Prospective Students

Students requires 165 credit hours through five years of study to obtain a B.Sc. in electrical engineering. The students must finish their graduation project through the last year in which they apply the acquired information in one of the electrical engineering fields for local projects.

 During the period of study and in order to consolidate the engineering fundamentals, the student must study practical courses in the laboratories of the electrical engineering department. This courses include Electrical Circuits lab, Electronic Circuits lab, Communications lab, Electrical Machines lab, Digital Electronic Circuits lab, Microprocessors lab, Computer lab, Control lab, and Electrical Power Systems lab

 Admission Requirements:

 1. Fulfillment of the specialization conditions in the engineering faculty.

 2. Passing the courses: 21101, 21102, 22101, and 22102. And because of the limited number of students that the department can accept, the selection of them will be after finishing the first preliminary year according to the competition average in Mathematics and Physics courses.

Graduation Requirements for the B.Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering Department: To earn the B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering the student must complete 165 credit hours divided as follows: - University requirements 26 credits - Faculty requirements 21 credits - Department requirements 118 credits
