Water is the most important thing in our life. The problem in fresh water storage supply is a serious problem the world tries to deal with it. Today, (WDNs) serve many purposes in addition to the provision of water for human consumption, which often accounts for less than 2% of the total volume supplied. Piped water is used for washing, sanitation, irrigation and fire fighting. This project will concern with the evaluation and redesign of (WDN) for Bait Dajan village.
Bait Dajan is a Palestinian village in the Nablus governorate in the north central West Bank, located 10 km to the east of Nablus city. It is classified as a rural community. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS), the estimated population of the village is about 3834 inhabitants in 2010 and the computed annual growth rate is about 3.2%. The village depends for drinking water supply mainly on a well constructed on 2003 and called Bait Djan well. It is located to the west of village and provides the village with drinking water at about 38m3/hr. Water from the well is continuously pumped to an elevated tank, with a capacity of around 500m3 constructed in 2008 at the highest point of the village.  Water from the tower is then distributed to all houses in the village by gravity, through a (WDN) which was constructed in 2009.
