Electric machines lab equipped with all devices and equipments needs to make all tests and measurements that the students needed to become familiar with major types of DC/ AC motors, DC/ AC generators and transformers either single - phase or three- phase.
The main objectives of electric machines lab (1)

To investigate all test and measurements of single phase transformers (turns ratio, phase relation, open circuit test and short circuit test).

To investigate all tests and measurements of three phase transformer with three phase resistive – inductive, balanced and unbalanced load
-
To become familiar with major types of DC generators and to study the characteristics of these generators

To become familiar with major types of DC motors and to study the characteristics of these motors
