the last decay the evolution in electronics has rapidly increased, which has great impact on the industry of phones in many different fields, such as more sensors and wirelesses interface in the smart phone also the device itself become smaller in comparison to the earlier version.

The goals of this project are a system to locate objects or people inside a building by using mobile devices.

IPS (indoor positioning system) use different technologies, including distance measurement to nearby anchor nodes (nodes with known position, for example (Wi-Fi access points).

Wi-Fi positioning system (WPS) is used where GPS is inadequate. The localization technique used for positioning with wireless access points is based on measuring the intensity of the received signal (received signal strength RSS) .

While the goal of indoor positioning for some users, notably hospitals and malls, is to provide navigation aid, others want to use indoor positioning to better market to customers, provide just-in-time information via audio for tours,  to achieve this purpose, we have built an Android application that supports that idea and easy to use, it has been running the application on the Al-Najah National University, College of Engineering, Second floor.
