Recreation complex is a facility open to the public for leisure and recreation activities, Where people can go and have their needs of social contacting and fun.
Recreational activities can be communal or solitary, active or passive, outdoors or indoors, healthy or harmful, and useful for society or detrimental. A list of typical activities could be almost endless including most human activities, a few examples being reading, playing or listening to music, watching movies or TV, gardening, hunting, hobbies, sports, studies, and travel. Not all recreational activities can be considered wise, healthy, or socially acceptable or useful—examples are gambling, drinking, or delinquent activities. Recreational drugs are being used to enhance the recreational experience, a wide-ranging and controversial subject as some drugs are accepted or tolerated by society within limits, others not and declared illegal.
the site of the project in in Nablus city.. i used the way of building & topography to create something familiar but new to Nablus city. took the street as a part of the city as asymmetric shape .. then changing the unites type . because of the steep slope .. designing with contoured is the best solution and to create a semi closed interior area two strait lines will create the project.. the intersection between these two create a vertical element so we have the vertical an horizontal elements .. the horizontal create streets of small village and the vertical will create a land mark of the project had a problem with connecting the square shape with the circular shape .. the way I used to connect these two is by using the abstract drawing for the squench.
THE PROJECT INCLUDES Administration, bowling, playstation & video games room , cafeterias , restaurant , multipurpose hall, children center, gymnasium, spa, interior & exterior swimming pool, bicycles road, tennis, basket ball .
