Project’s Summary:

 

The energy source (petroleum, electricity .gas…etc.) will not be enough in future to secure human demands. Now a day, the world is interested in energy use from renewable energy sources like the sun and wind due to their availability. From this point the Environmental Friendly building has become the most important topic for Engineering to provide comfort and cost efficiency for humans.

 

The Importance of this project is to create an integration of architectural, structural design that also contains seismic and safety, And environmental design by using of natural resources, like sun, wind and solar system.

Also improve the comfortable living environment for people and to reduce the negative impacts of such buildings on the environmental by reducing energy consumption.

 

* Objectives of the project.

The main objectives of the project are:-

  • Architectural design: Residential comfort.
  •  Structural design: safety and economical.  
  • Environmental design: using of natural resources and saving energy.
  •  Apply of green buildings and codes and principles.

 

* Methodology.

 1- Literature review: back ground studies, then architectural, structure, environment, mechanical, and electrical standard for the project and study the environmental aspects design and its components.

2- Analysis case study   of similar project to find their strengths and weaknesses to regarding their designs and compared to standard.

3-Proposed project and its elements, spaces and its location, some of these projects were completed as academic project.

4- Search the functions of relative areas and its specifications.  Then use the best method to justify these specifications, Then analysis project site and its location, and identical the design with researches.
