Our goal in this project is to create a modern safety system, sophisticated and programmed, for all sections of the hospital. for the safety of staff, visitors and patients, and reduce their risks ,so that the system is easy and clear , and this system when applied in the hospital it will return to them many benefits other than safety, including costs of injuries, the performance of the workers, maintain the time.
Explain the problem
By visiting the Arab Specialist Hospital, We found that the existing safety system they have is weak and they do not commit implementing it. where there is no documented, programmed, and Followed system in the hospital. On the other hand they do not have tools and safety equipment for in sufficient numbers according to the number of people and the available space also they do not deal with the medical waste and disposed it properly.
Describe the results
· We have prepared occupational safety and health guide for each of employees, patients, visitors and accompanying in the hospital. This guide is comprehensive to all department of the hospital.
· We developed a medical waste system in which we addressed to all the processes undergone by the medical waste from the moment of its production until processed and final disposal.
· We have developed a comprehensive fire plan to all sections of the hospital, in addition to the contingency plan includes actions to be taken in the event of any emergency problem.
· We have created a software system using access program for easy access to information for all people entering the hospital whether they are employees, visitors, patients.
