The idea came due to the importance of the Palestinian Housing Council to establish its own office building, and the importance of office buildings, which is one of the features that give an evidence on the technical information age, also contributes in increasing the gross national product of the state (GNP) in terms of the diversity of business activities that quoted among members of the community such as banks and telecommunications companies, tourism and trade. So offices are one of the important areas that require a special attention to the requirements of the planning and the needs of its users and its regulatory standards that it have.
The main objective of the project is to design an integrated Eco-friendly office building in all aspects. This means that the project will involve a study of the nature of the site, architectural, structural, electrical, environmental and mechanical design, and safety aspects. Architectural and environmental design will takes into consideration the orientation, form, spaces; fenestration will be designed based on environmental requirements. The structure will be designed using computer software where the analysis will include a 3-D model, soil structure interaction and dynamic analysis for seismic design. In addition, the project will be designed for fire safety using fire alarms, elevators, exits and other systems that may be important to provide public safety. The electrical design involves lighting systems, electrical wiring, and sockets, especially for high-power devices. The design will comprise mechanical and HVAC installations and plumbing, taking into account that these aspects must be environmentally friendly.

In conclusion, designing a high quality integrated eco-friendly office building into consideration all the standards for these kinds of buildings which are expected to operate properly and professionally.
