With the recent advancement in the field of Robotics, human intervention is becoming less every day. Robots are used widely for purpose of safety. In our day to day life, fire accidents are very common and sometime it becomes very difficult for a fireman to save human life.
The purpose of the project is to build a robot, which can detect and extinguish a fire in households and small scale industries in the quickest possible time. The robot must find the fire and then extinguish it. We are not focusing on making a firefighting robot that can deal with fire on large scale, but we will build a model robot.
With the use of microcontroller circuit and constructing a special hardware design, we will build our robot that consists of many components needed to support firefighting functionality such as mechanical part, motor, power, flame sensor and distance sensor.
