The main purpose of this research is to know the design of the tractor and how solid
parts are connected together. This simulation is conducted using matlab program and
analysis by equations in both directions X&Y and summation of moment. The final
design is controlled by many factors that affect plowing quality, such as soil type. The
engine selection affects plowing quality by providing the force needed to plow.
Engines can be classified into two or four-cycle. Engine performance parameter is
used to define the equivalent power. However, the performance parameter is used to
define the rate of fuel consumption and heating value of fuel. Other considerations
that can affect plow are the type of wheels and lugs and their structures that are
selected according to the type of soil. This project is concerned with plowing in small
fields using the right plow chosen according to the type of plowing and the plowing
technology at specific depths.
The hard ware is used to know the structure of the machine and the use of every part
and how it is joined with other parts. For example, axle shaft is used for rotating
wheel and gear may be fixed to the wheels or fixed to its surroundings. Another
example is the front access that connects the two front wheels, which is similar to the
function of rear access that binds the back wheels. Motor base that has many types
adjusts motor to occupy its appropriate position. Finally, there is an important part of
the tractor's hardware; that is the steering rod which helps in pointing to the desired
direction.
The free body diagram is used to calculate the unknown’s forces free body diagram
shows all forces of all types acting on this body. The matlab is used to simulate the
project and to calculate unknowns in equations. The solid work program is used to
display the shape of the parts.
