A Portable Massage Bed is a device used for the treatment of back pain, by massage or the tensile load on the energy points and muscle strained.
The aim of this project is to design a portable massage bed , because this device is not available in the local markets and because of its high cost when it is imported from out of the country.
Another reason for our decision is the large quantity people who had back pain in our country due to their daily work.
In Department of Physical Therapy, it seemed that the device is either tensile device or it’s a vibration device which means that there is no device includes both things.
In this project, two methods for treatments of back pain will be used:
The first method is the traction , which the patient will tie his waist with a belt and this belt is connected to a wire and at the end of the bed there is a pulley , the wire rounds around it half tern and at the end of it there is a place where the weights are hanged .
The second method is the massage procedure, which there is a rollers under the back area in the bed and they will rotate in a slider and they will provide the massage operation.
The operating and safety it’s a control panel which has keys easily used , so any one can used it without needing help or supervision from someone with experience .
The portable massage bed will be operated by electricity.
The material that will be used to vibrate is wood, because it can work as an insulator.
