         In this project, a single phase induction motor (SPIM) adjustable speed drive control is implemented with hardware setup and software program in PIC-C code.

        SPIM is used because it is widely used in our daily life.The main feature used in microcontroller is their peripherals to realize pulse width modulation.This Digital control brings low cost, small size and flexibility to change the control algorithm without changes in hardware
