Feasibility Study Establishing a Float Glass Factory In Palestine

The project objective is to conduct a feasibility study for establishing a float glass factory in Palestine, the factory will be located in Herbon, and will produce various kinds of float glass with different thicknesses, its annual capacity will be 40,000 ton, it will cover 40% of the Palestinian market and 20% will be exported to the Jordanian market. The total investment will be 21.5 million US$ with an initial investment of 18.4 million US$, and a working capital of 3 million US$ for a production cycle 3 months. The manpower required for this factory will be 232 employees include the administrative employees, the annual sales expected to be 22.4 million dollar.

The Project Internal Rate Of Return is 40.38%, the Return On Investment is 38.6% also the Payback Period is 3 years, the Break Even Point covered with a 3.5 million US$ sales value, therefore the project is feasible, and is expected to obtain a large market share in the future in both the Palestinian an Jordanian markets.
