The idea of the project:

         Is to build a single phase full controlled bridge rectifier ,use it to supply different types of load and to make  investigations about the improvement of its grid current    

 Bridge Characteristics:

      Single phase bridge rectifier has many characteristics and applications which make it widely used in the industrial applications and these characteristics can be summarized in the following points:

  1. Two quadrant operation is possible.
  2. The thyristors are triggered at an interval of  pi.
  3. It is also used to control the speed of DC motors.
  4. This circuit is widely used in dual converters (ups).
  5. It can be used in continuous mode depend on the firing angle.
