It is my pleasure to introduce to you the Telecommunication Engineering Department. This department was established in (2008/2009), as part of the faculty of engineering at An-najah university, to meet the growing local (Palestinian) demands for competent and efficient engineers to serve this very important sector.
The program offered within this department, constitutes of 165 credit hours and spans a nominal period of five years. This program focuses on the following major areas of communication fields; Digital and analogue communication, signal processing, communication networks, radar, cellular communication, switching systems, artificial intelligence satellite communication antennas, programs and protocols relating to data transfer, microwave, communication electronics and other subjects. In addition all students undergo field work and several practical laboratory courses in the following areas; Electric circuits, Electronic circuits, Communications, Advanced communications, Digital electronics, Microprocessor, computer, control, digital signal processing and workshops.
Each student is expected to undergo a final year project in communication related fields.
