The main aim of this project is to make a wood shavings machine that produce wood shavings which used in animals farms as bedding, the machine proceed by putting wood trunks in moving container over a rotating blades fixed on cylinder, the shavings fall under the machine to package it later.

This project report will mainly cover the following:

1-  An adequate pertinent literature review.

2-  An economical effect study.

3-  The design of the machine with an explanation of some important parts in the machine.

4-  A simulation of the machine using appropriate CAD software.
