A delegation from the British Armfield Inc., who specializes in manufacturing of devices and laboratory equipment, has visited the Chemical Engineering Department at ANNU. The delegation included Leslie Blake, International Area Sales Manager at Armfield Inc. and Mr. Monther Gubran, the company's representative in Palestine. They inspected the devices purchased recently from the company and considered the options of maintaining the instruments and replacing any damaged parts. It is worth mentioning that the Department has purchased distillation, gas absorption, and extraction pilot plant units from Armfield. Also, the company’s delegation has made a presentation on the latest developments in laboratory equipment relevant to various areas of interest to the Department, such as fluid mechanics, food processing, heat transfer, energy, and unit operations.
