We develop a component (Xcell)that is compatible with Microsoft excel program ,which the user can get from a web server free through two techniques
:Working online or offline.
In this component we try to put the most important tool which the user need .User can open his files from Microsoft excel if he need to use advanced technique there.
When working with Xcell you can save your files on server so you can open it from anywhere. or save your files locally when working offline.
Updates to our application will be downloaded from server , so the user can keep track of all the updates to the application.
All that is achieved by using smart client technology.
To communicate with server we used web service which remains online in the server side ,,and if its offline the user files will be saved to pack up hidden folder in his pc.these files will be saved to server when web server become online again.
