Quick start 16 PIC Board 750

Laboratory:
Microcontroller Lab
Quick start 16 PIC Board 750

1.    Operate on 115 or 230 V/50-60Hz incoming power.
2.    There are three adjustable voltage DC supplies
available for external power or signal use:
•    +2 to +5 VDC @ 0-500 ma.
•    +5 to +I5VDC @0-100 ma.
•    -5 to -I5VDC @0-100 ma.
3.    A 60Hz reference signal is available on TB-3 for circuit synchronization, which is a 50 Vpp sine wave sourced by 1K impedance.
4.    Each MCM has a PICI6f877 programmed to selectively measure the voltage, current, time or frequency characteristics of an input signal.
5.    results are shown on the module's 4 digit LED
Display.
6.    Each MCM has a COMPORT (RS-232 with female DB-9 connector) which is a serial communication port that can be connected to a PC to monitor or control signals on the Design Center.
7.    Two input current ranges are supported:0to+2.5 ma, and 0 to +250 ma.
8.    Two input voltage ranges are supported: 0 to+2.5V, and 0 to +25V.
9.    Frequency of Hz or kHz is selected using the
Mode Switch.
10.     The RS-232 serial port should be set up at 9600
baud, 8 bit, no parity, 1 stop bit and no hardware
flow control.
